FIRST PRIZE

A collection of the winner’s poetry will be published in paperback by The Ravenglass Poetry Press.

The winner will receive 10 complimentary copies, and the collection will be made

available to purchase through The Ravenglass Poetry Press website and Amazon. 

 

SECOND PRIZE:

Inclusion in an anthology published in paperback by The Ravenglass Poetry Press.

Those shortlisted will receive 5 complimentary copies, and the collection will be made

available to purchase through The Ravenglass Poetry Press website.

General Information

The Ravenglass Poetry Press Competition is open to anyone aged 18 or over. Entrants must submit a portfolio of work featuring a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 poems. There is no line limit for each individual poem, but the overall maximum length of the portfolio must not exceed 150 lines. Entries in breach of these limitations will be disqualified without refund of the entry fee.

 

Copyright
The copyright in each poem remains with the author. Entrants are deemed to grant to The Ravenglass Poetry Press a non-exclusive, worldwide licence over each entry submitted for the duration of the Competition.


Entry form download

All work submitted for consideration must be the entrant’s own original writing, and should not have appeared in print or on a website or have been broadcast, or be submitted for publication or consideration elsewhere. Work found to be printed or on a website or to have been broadcast will be disqualified without refund of the entry fee.

 

All work should be typed or word processed, clearly legible and written in English. Each poem should have a title. Entries should be submitted online.


Entry Fee
- £10.00 (sterling) per portfolio of poetry.
